If anyone has a blog that goes untouched for years, that person would be me.
I think if you’re reading this you know me well enough to know I’m involved with plastic recycling and you’re simply here to gather some information or breadcrumbs that I might leave for you to use.
What am I up to these days? Aside from renouncing my US citizenship for Indonesian citizenship, I’m still helping out in Precious Plastic communities online and offline. I’m still more than happy to connect people with the information they need and give suggestion.
I’ve stopped my work with Precious Plastic Ciledug. My mentality for it was to use it as a hobby and see if it can fund itself. Many lessons were learned!!! I think there’s a point when things go from being a hobby to being work and it can quickly burn out. If you take on projects that are too difficult/beyond your capabilities you’ll only find yourself burning out at a much quicker rate and it’s especially difficult for those who try and use a workspace like this for their primary income. But like I said, it is a hobby and usually hobbies cost money. At least i got close enough to breaking even.
Now I’m working on PURA which is sort of a pivot for me from Precious Plastic Ciledug and entering a more focused manufacturing of building materials from recycled materials with Parong.Pong.
So there you have it. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any plastic questions.
